P.S.
Just kidding; I'm proud to be your friend and since July 1 I've told everybody that will listen what you have been doing. There are at least 7 people that I know who can't wait to meet the Goliath of a man that is John Zambenini. Take your sweet time in San Fran...this is the hour for basking

CONGRATULATIONS!

agreed with Tyler, but don't take your sweet time. Come home sooner rather than later, Mindy

Aw, I was grinning all over the place when I watched your video! This was truly a heroic epic journey, Zambo. Now you have to write a poem.

Congratulations John!

What a marvelous accomplishment.

It has been a real treat to keep up with your journey ever since we meet in Utica KY.

Thanks for taking us all along for the ride - I'm glad you were driving.

Congratulations John!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a great day ... not just for you ... but for all of us who got to share this "journey of a lifetime" with you. I am excited for you and I know you are proud of yourself. No one will really know all the emotions you must have had while riding endlessly in the rain, the cold, and the baking heat while riding over never ending mountain ranges and then to top it off by riding through the desert! No one will really know the pride you feel inside about riding your bicycle across the entire continent. You brought a lot of joy, worry, and great entertainment to all the people who have been watching your journals. You did a fabulous job of sharing this trip. I'm proud of you and am glad for our half hour visit in Virginia. When I met you, there was no doubt in my mind that you had the will, the courage, and the determination to complete this trip with style ... and you did! I grinned from ear to ear when I logged on and saw you had finished. Celebrate this, John. You will probably never, in your lifetime, meet another person who has ridden their bicycle across the United States of America! What a great accomplishment!

I have never met you, but I have been following your journey, and it has been a great ride. Thanks for doing such a great job of blogging and letting us "earth-bound" people ride along. Congratulations on your great achievement, and remember to fight the fight and finsih the race when you meet obstacles besides deserts and mountains!

Zambo,
So like where's my story? I thought you were going to write a story for me for the Ambassador last weekend. I want my story slacker:)
Kidding...about the slacker part. I still want the story.

John,

I have never met you, but I am good friends with Nathan, Josh, and more recently, Matthew in Colorado Springs. I can't tell you how much I wish that I could have been on that trip with you! It's been on my list of things to do for some time now. Nathan told me that you would be doing this, and I nearly had an aneurism with all of my excitement. Anyway, way to go! I hope it was a very profitable time for you.

Renae :)
